Usually my wildlife camera takes so many quail photos that I end up deleting most of them. It is motion triggered so you can imagine how many times these busy little birds get snapped. But even I couldn't resist this charming little family outing, all they need to complete the image is a little picnic hamper!

The first time I saw these it was love at first sight! They are so cute the way they scurry!
What a happy sight! I've seen lots of quail families this year in Tucson.
How could you resist them Roberta? They are goofy, cute, comical and pretty all in one package :)
There do seem to be good numbers of babies this year don't there Carole, great to know we won't run short of these endearing characters any time soon :)
