A Happy Rock


Lichen is quite fascinating, fungus and green algae growing together in a symbiotic relationship. Apparently 6% of the earths surface is covered in lichen. This one appealed to me because it made the rock look like it is smiling.

Lovely Lichen


I spend so much time watching the more gregarious entities around our land that it is easy to overlook the more subtle treasures which are often right in front of me. I love to just sit quietly in one spot and see what I notice, I am never disappointed.

each one is a unique, natural work of art.
