Another new species that has appeared on our land this monsoon season is mythical indeed, the Desert Unicorn! How cool is that? I never expected to have unicorns for neighbours. This strange plant develops a large tuber underground and when the rains come they grow leaves, lovely yellow flowers and the long curved fruits that give them their name.
This blog is not about provocative thoughts, ruminations on the world as we know it or anything else fancy. It is merely images from my personal 'little piece of paradise,' Enjoy.

Pretty flower, what a unique plant..Enjoy the rest of your week!
It is quite odd Eileen, the rest of the year there is absolutely nothing showing above ground at all, perfectly adapted to desert life.
