Advantages of the Monsoon Season - Part 3
Well I can't quiet believe this but a third rainy evening and a third different toad species! And this one is a behemoth - the biggest species in North America, the Sonoran Desert Toad, isn't he a beauty?
You must be loving Your Backyard! I had one of these living in mine when I lived there. Have you heard their mating cries yet? Sound like an animal being tortured!
Oh I am Kathie :) This species is very impressive, I was rather enchanted with the shape of their upper lip. It doesn't really show in this particular shot but it has a very funny little tuck in the middle! I haven't heard them call yet but thanks for the warning!
