A Regal Year
King Snakes are usually a rare sighting on our land but this year we are virtually tripping over them. I wonder how this will effect the populations of other snake species we usually see more regularly. Hopefully they won't all disappear.
You certainly have an interesting variety of snakes. We have a fair number of garter snakes here but that is about it. I am not sure how I would feel about rattlesnakes so that is probably just as well.
HI Celeste

Celeste, I do not think I have actually seen a king snake in the wild. I guess I will have to come and visit you!
ReplyDeleteNine different species in our yard so far Guy, even I was surprised by that :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect reason to me Kathie :) And you can't leave until you've seen one!!
