Softness


So many of the organisms that I post on this blog are spiky, spiny or venomous so it makes a nice change to be able to capture one of the gentler characters occasionally. The Desert Cottontail.

    It's hard to imagine rabbits in the desert and yet they are everywhere!

    They certainly have an amazingly tough existence don't they Chris. I guess that notorious reproductive rate counts for something :)
