We had two new species for our yard list today. I actually saw this one yesterday but it was the briefest of glimpses and it was flying with a pair of Cardinals. I was pretty sure it was a Pyrrhuloxia but I wanted a better sighting just to be 100% sure. And here he is, obligingly perching for me to confirm his identity.
This blog is not about provocative thoughts, ruminations on the world as we know it or anything else fancy. It is merely images from my personal 'little piece of paradise,' Enjoy.

Another Species for the list.

So gorgeous and don't you just love that beak!
Yes I do Kathie, I must admit I was delighted when these guys appeared. We seem to have a pair.
